The Futureheads

Post-punk-inspired Sunderland band The Futureheads play a live gig at the Brudenell Social Club.

The Futureheads, who emerged in the early 2000s as part of the UK's angular post-punk movement, bring their spiky guitars, four-part harmonies and concise songwriting to the Brudenell Social Club. The band released acclaimed albums including their 2004 debut featuring the hit cover of 'Hounds of Love', the a cappella Rant, and 2019's Powers after their reunion. Late in 2024 a first singles compilation, Decent Days & Nights: The Singles, was issued.
