About
A festive Christmas Eve service of carols, readings and poetry at St Bride's Church, free and open to all.
Sing Choirs of Angels is a Christmas Eve service combining Christmas music, readings and poetry, designed for those who cannot attend Midnight Mass or want a reflective pause in the festive season. The programme spans music from the 16th century, including Hieronymus Praetorius's German carol Joseph lieber, Joseph mein, to a recent setting of Balulalow for soprano duet by former St Bride's Choir member Helen Neeves. Doors open at 4pm and the service lasts approximately one hour, with a voluntary retiring collection in support of the church.
