Cityscapes: Watercolour for Beginners
About
A six-hour beginner-friendly watercolour workshop at The Apex where participants paint three cityscapes with all materials provided.
This six-hour workshop with Sunil Kalbandi teaches beginners to paint three distinct cityscapes in watercolour. It opens with a short theory session on colour mixing, urban techniques and creating atmosphere with washes and value contrasts, then covers simplifying the drawing of buildings, streets and perspective before painting. Most of the day is hands-on painting with step-by-step demonstrations and personalised guidance, and all materials are provided so participants take home at least three finished paintings. No prior experience is needed; children must be accompanied by an adult and lunch is not provided, though the venue has a cafe.
