About

An exhibition brings together research and creative work about respiratory illness, ventilation and the experiences of disabled and chronically ill people.

The museum exhibition draws on a five-year University of Sheffield research programme, combining archival work, participant photography and a physical Museum of Breathing. It considers how illness, disability and medical technologies shape the social and cultural politics of respiration. Admission is included with general museum entry; no separate exhibition hours are published.
