Curious Hour: Inside the Mind of a Serial Killer
About
A 60-minute true crime science talk by cognitive psychologist Dr Philippe Chassy on the psychology of serial killers, followed by an open Q&A.
Curious Hour is a bar-based science night in which cognitive psychologist Dr Philippe Chassy explains the psychology of serial killers, covering how emotion, memory and personality produce extreme behaviour, drawing on his own forensic research. The evidence-led talk lasts 60 minutes with no dramatisation, and each session features a different case, psychological profile or forensic method. Afterwards the floor opens for an unfiltered Q&A where the audience can ask anything. The event is for ages 18+ and is aimed at true crime fans and the generally curious.
