November – Drop-in drawing

A free artist-led drop-in drawing workshop invites visitors to combine a historical portrait sitter with their own features, joining past and present.

Visitors can imagine themselves as a figure from the Gallery’s collection and create a drawing that merges a historical portrait with their own features. The workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced artists; materials are provided, seating is limited, and visitors may drop in for part or all of the two-hour session.
