About

A participatory writing workshop led by artist Lu Zhao, exploring hair stories through language, personal anecdotes and creative mapping.

The three-hour session uses writing prompts, conversation and collage or mapping to explore how hair relates to family, migration, beauty, gender, culture and belonging. Sharing is optional and no prior writing experience is needed. It is particularly intended for people from ESEA communities while welcoming different experiences and ways to participate.
