Freaky Fun Fest
About
A Halloween half-term event at Mead Open Farm with circus shows, haunted mazes, a pumpkin patch and trick-or-treat trap doors.
Freaky Fun Fest runs across October half term at Mead Open Farm, running daily from 10am to 5pm. Visitors can watch the Freaky Circus in the Big Top, with shows at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm and a new daredevil act for 2026, and explore two undercover haunted attractions: Horrid High and Scary Tales. New for 2026 is the Trick or Treat Trap Doors, where brave volunteers knock on monsters' doors for a giggle or a gasp. Every paying or member child can pick a free pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch, and the ticket also includes the farm's usual outdoor and indoor play and animal areas.
