Ballers Against Bigots Launch Event

A launch party for Ballers Against Bigots, a new grassroots football movement creating trans-inclusive spaces and raising funds for queer, trans and BIPOC community projects.

Ballers Against Bigots is launching as an initiative bringing together the grassroots football community in London, Cambridge and beyond, creating matches, tournaments and spaces for people who refuse to participate in a sport the organisers say is predicated on trans exclusion following the Supreme Court ruling. The group also aims to fundraise for community-led projects centring queer, trans and BIPOC communities. This launch evening offers chats, dancing and a chance to meet other footy teams and fans. Attendees are automatically signed up as free members of Pelican House Social Club so they can buy drinks at the bar; the event is 18+ with step-free access and accessible toilets.
