FEAST: Community Service – Seamas Carey

Seamas Carey’s participatory performance sends a grumpy clown to gather an audience into a playful experiment in shared identity and collective joy.

Carey plays Geoff, a reluctant envoy from the Council who is meant to spread collective joy. He gathers whoever chooses to join a circle and leads them through comic, silly and moving exercises involving song, dance and the creation of a shared name and handshake. People may come and go, but participation shapes the performance.
