Guided Night Walks 2026: Inverness

A two-hour guided night walk at Craig Phadrig, Inverness, exploring stars, folklore, wildlife signs and UV fluorescence with Will Hall.

Outdoor instructor and wildlife filmmaker Will Hall leads a guided walk after dark at Craig Phadrig in Inverness. Participants explore natural navigation, hear stories behind the constellations and look for clues left by wildlife, using UV torches to reveal fluorescence normally invisible to the eye. On clear nights the group looks upward to identify stars and constellations, while cloudier evenings focus on discoveries closer to the ground. The walk lasts about two hours and no previous knowledge is needed.
