A 70-minute-plus-interval a cappella concert by The King's Singers of calm, meditative choral music spanning a thousand years.
The King's Singers present Head Space, a programme of unaccompanied choral music chosen for its power to evoke reflection, mindfulness and peace, from plainchant and Hildegard von Bingen to John Cage's 4'33" and arrangements of traditional song. The concert runs about two hours including an interval and features works by Tallis, Grieg, Pärt, Schubert, Saint-Saëns and Bob Chilcott among others.
