Swiss Church Sunday services
About
Join the Swiss Church’s first-and-third-Sunday worship, with hymns, English sermons and liturgy in English, French and German.
People of all denominations and faiths are welcome. Services begin 11am on the first and third Sunday of each month; first Sundays include communion. Hymns are accompanied by organist Peter Yardley-Jones. The current autumn programme names choir and communion on 4 October, 1 November and 20 December, a commemoration service 15 November and Advent service 6 December. Drinks and fellowship follow upstairs. High Holborn Chamber Choir and Southwark Chamber Choir are named as regular guest choirs; the precise choir for each date is not stated. High Holborn describes its choral services as typically first Sundays during choir terms, from 11am to noon; that typical format is not used to assign a finishing time to every Sunday.
