About
A washed-up Hollywood star arrives in a Suffolk village expecting Stratford-upon-Avon and must learn to work with the amateur actors cast around him in King Lear.
Ian Hislop and Nick Newman's comedy follows a selfish American actor who discovers that the village Stratford Players are not the legendary Royal Shakespeare Theatre company he expected. The production is directed by Fred Johnson and is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Limited on behalf of Samuel French Limited.
