BAPPS Writing on Supervision Symposium
About
Howard Edmunds, Sumeet Grover, Alex Dalziel and Margaret Gallop explore trauma, culture and clinical reflection in psychoanalytic supervision.
This BAPPS conference brings together presentations and discussion for practitioners interested in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic supervision. The morning considers buried trauma and disturbances in the supervisory encounter, followed by papers on journeys through supervision. The lunchtime Helen Humphreys memorial event launches the BAPPS Living Library. Margaret Gallop leads the afternoon session on finding containing words during rapid change. In-person attendance is at the Guild, with an online option and certificates for up to six hours of CPD. Nonmembers may book; the programme is professionally aimed and no specific qualification requirement is published. The members’ AGM follows at 15:30–16:30 and is outside this symposium record.
