London New Year’s Eve 2026
About
Watch the Mayor of London’s New Year’s Eve fireworks from one of six ticketed viewing areas around the central Thames.
Ticket holders choose one viewing area and must use its assigned entrance; movement between areas is not permitted. Blue covers Victoria Embankment between Westminster Bridge and Golden Jubilee Footbridge; Red continues from the footbridge to Temple Avenue. Pink is on Waterloo Bridge, Green is behind the London Eye, White is on Westminster Bridge, and Orange is on Albert Embankment beside the riverside of St Thomas’s Hospital. Gates admit ticket holders from 20:00 to 22:30. The published attendance interval ends at 00:30.
Orange is the accessible viewing area, with seating, a hearing loop and additional access facilities. The other areas have step-free movement on closed roads but can be crowded and have no seating. Every attendee needs a ticket, including children; under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. The organiser advises against bringing young children. Tickets are sold only through Ticketmaster, with a maximum of four per purchaser; the first release is at noon on 23 October.
