About
A panel discussion on the political origins, present pressures and future governance of England’s national parks.
Countrystride Live brings together Julian Glover, Tiffany Hunt, Tim Farron and Rose O’Neill for a discussion about the political history of national parks, visitor pressure, nature loss, climate change and funding, and possible changes to their purposes and governance. David Felton hosts and audience contributions are invited. The published programme describes two 40-minute sessions with a 20-minute interval; no ending clock is stated. The audience may visit the free Forty Fells exhibition from 17:00 to 18:30 before the discussion.
