Queer Crafts with Notts LGBT+ Network and Zesty's Collective
About
A relaxed monthly craft session for LGBTQIA+ adults at Nottingham Contemporary, with materials provided and a calm, welcoming atmosphere.
Zesty's Collective and Notts LGBT+ Network host a relaxed, informal craft afternoon open to LGBTQIA+ or questioning people aged 18 and over. Sessions rotate between paper crafts, painting, sculpting and textile activities such as knitting, crochet and embroidery, with materials provided and guidance available for beginners; simple no-experience activities like beaded bracelets are always on offer. Attendees can drop in for as little or as long as they like, bring their own projects, and a safe-spaces code of conduct applies. The session runs for 1 hour 45 minutes.
