A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) course covering rescue techniques, theory, First Aid, and CPR.
The NPLQ course covers all elements of Pool Rescue Techniques, Lifeguarding Theory, First Aid, and CPR. It is a physically demanding training and assessment program that requires 100% attendance. The syllabus is divided into three sections: The Lifeguard and the Law, Intervention and Rescue, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, AED and First Aid. Candidates must be 16 years old and meet specific physical prerequisites.
