Corporate Wild Work Day at Ebernoe Wildlands, Petworth
About
A corporate conservation work day at Ebernoe Wildlands, combining practical habitat management with learning about the reserve.
Spend a practical staff volunteering day supporting Sussex Wildlife Trust at Ebernoe Wildlands Nature Reserve. The group carries out active habitat management and learns about the reserve’s wildlife. Seasonal tasks may include hay raking, bramble and scrub work, birch pulling or holly thinning in autumn and winter, Himalayan balsam or path improvements in spring, and bracken pulling in summer. Meet at the Holy Trinity Church car park on Ebernoe Common; free parking is available there, but there are no toilets on site. The Trust provides tools, gloves, safety equipment and instruction, and a first aider is available. Wear weather-appropriate long sleeves, trousers and sturdy boots or wellies; bring drinking water and a packed lunch. The listed group booking is for 6–30 people: £700 + VAT for 6–15 or £1,000 + VAT for 16–30. Eventbrite ticket amounts are deposits only; a 10% deposit excluding VAT plus booking fee is required, with the balance invoiced with VAT.
