A monthly zoo book club invites young visitors to listen to a story read aloud by the zoo team.

The zoo team reads a story to young visitors on six published dates from October 2026 to March 2027, with sessions at 11:00 and 16:00 on each date. The story for each month will be announced on the zoo website and social media before the session. Sessions are included with zoo admission or membership; no extra event ticket or pre-booking is required. Each child receives a loyalty card, with one stamp per day; a completed six-stamp card gives 50% off one children’s book priced £12 or less at the zoo shop. The café has a maximum capacity, and the zoo says an over-capacity session will be repeated after the first session ends. The published page gives no session duration.
