Pepys Parish Wassailing

A festive wassail around the pubs of the parish of St Olave Hart Street, singing carols in the footsteps of Samuel Pepys.

Participants gather at The Ship on Hart Street before wassailing around the pubs and taverns of the parish of St Olave Hart Street, singing carols and spreading good cheer in the footsteps of famous parishioner Samuel Pepys. The procession is joined by bellringers from the University of London Society of Change Ringers and singers from the St Olave Singers and St Olave Scholars. The singing takes place outdoors, so warm clothing is advised, and all are welcome.
