Conversation Panes
About
A free 24/7 winter group exhibition at the Window Galleries showing collage, botanical photography, embroidery, ceramics, textiles and mixed-media work by six Oxford-based women artists.
Conversation Panes is a group exhibition of Oxford-based and associated women artists taking over the Window Galleries for the winter. Rachel Dixon shows enlarged analog collage posters on street interaction and resistance; Clé Holly presents close-up botanical portraits photographed at Green Templeton College; Daisy J. Hung exhibits hand-embroidered recreations of UK immigration documents; Kashmira Patel displays ceramic vessels exploring memory and inheritance; Eileen Pun contributes a textile and poetry project addressing tropical deforestation; and Hanan Zein Eddin shows a mixed-media painting responding to destruction in Gaza. The galleries are publicly viewable around the clock.
