Enjoy a relaxing heritage train ride on the 4-mile historic urban line of the Stephenson Steam Railway between Christmas and New Year.
Visitors can join a train ride on the historic urban line to beat the post-Christmas blues. After the journey, guests are invited to visit the museum and explore new displays detailing the lives of railway pioneers George and Robert Stephenson. The museum also features Billy, the world's third oldest surviving steam locomotive.
