Run Lola Run (1999)

Lola has twenty minutes to find 100,000 marks after boyfriend Manni loses a bag belonging to a dangerous criminal, with three alternate versions of her desperate run unfolding.

Tom Tykwer's kinetic German thriller follows Lola as she races against the clock to find 100,000 marks after boyfriend Manni loses a bag belonging to a dangerous criminal. The film replays the same twenty minutes in three variations, each small difference along her route producing a wildly different outcome. Franka Potente and Moritz Bleibtreu lead the cast in this breathless blend of action, drama and experimental structure.
