U8/L1 – Nottingham u8 Festival & u12, u16 Red Belt Open

A British Judo Association level 1 competition in Nottingham for under-8s plus U12 and U16 novice and red belt players.

This Nottingham Judo event combines a non-competitive under-8s festival with a U12 and U16 Red Belt Open competition. Under-8 players (aged 6-7) are grouped in fours for randori, with every participant receiving a medal and no placings. U12 (8-11) and U16 (12-15) novice and red belt competitors are pooled by gender, age and weight, with BJA technical restrictions applying; the tournament director may amend weight categories. Entries close on 11 November 2026 or when the entry limit is reached.
