Robin Phillips Sings & Plays: Chet Baker ft. James Brady

Robin Phillips sings and plays the music of Chet Baker with trumpeter James Brady and guests at a dinner jazz evening for the Cambridge Jazz Festival.

Robin Phillips, a jazz singer and pianist often compared vocally to Chet Baker, performs Baker's music with trumpeter James Brady as part of the Cambridge Jazz Festival 2026. The quartet, with Charlie Pyne on acoustic bass and Alex Best on drums, plus special guest guitarist Louis Thorne, plays songs including Almost Blue, Let's Get Lost and You Don't Know What Love Is. Phillips and Brady recently travelled Europe interviewing people who knew Baker for a documentary, and the repertoire draws on that story. Dinner and jazz tickets include a two-course meal, arrival drink and admission, with a concert-only option also available.
