Home Educators Day: Green Careers
About
A family activity day introducing home-educated children and young people to wildlife, conservation and green careers. Wristband access starts at 10:00 when the centre opens; the published activity programme runs through 16:00 GMT.
On 4 November, home-educated children and young people can explore green careers through drop-in wildlife art and wildlife-home building, citizen science and scheduled activities including vet, otter-enrichment, reserve-warden, facilitator, poster-design and wildlife-keeper sessions. The first activities and wristband access begin at 10:00 GMT, when the centre opens to the public; the final listed activity, Wildlife Keeper for the Day, ends at 16:00 GMT. Activities are included after admission. Some sessions have limited spaces and require sign-up at the H2O Foyer.
