About

An exhibition showcasing Harry Becker's regional pictures depicting East Anglian farm labour during the Great War era.

The exhibition celebrates a gift of regional pictures from Honorary Fellow Robert Cripps. Curated by art historian and biographer Ian Collins, it includes vintage farm implements and artefacts lent by the Food Museum in Stowmarket. The show also features a looping harvesting scene from Peter Hall's 1974 film Akenfield and a tape of birdsong to recreate the unmechanised countryside.
