About
NMT Automatics performs an epic new play inspired by the Minotaur and the true tale of the lost Jews of Crete, told through text, movement and shadow-play.
Set in Crete in 1944, the play follows Rena Depas, a young girl whose family is rounded up, on a labyrinthine quest to find peace in the wake of violence. Inspired by the Minotaur myth and the true story of the lost Jews of Crete, the narrative is told via text, movement and shadow-play. The performance runs approximately two hours including an interval and a post-performance Q&A, and is suitable for ages 12+ with references to the Holocaust and death.
