Holding & Yielding
About
A free collaborative sculpture exhibition by Helen Pakeman and Mary Norowzian exploring materiality, strength and fragility at West Ox Arts Gallery, Bampton.
Holding & Yielding is a collaborative exhibition of sculptures by Helen Pakeman and Mary Norowzian at the West Ox Arts Gallery in Bampton. Using ancient stones from the UK and Ireland alongside ephemeral Carex grass, the works explore strength and fragility, permanence and impermanence, and how we hold, change, connect and endure through time. An installation of flint, chalk and grass is accompanied by monoprints and cyanotypes, and the artists meet visitors on Sundays from 11.30am to 3.30pm.
