Theatre Cares - by the Sea!
About
Free weekly participatory music workshops for people with mild to moderate dementia and their carers, led by experienced practitioners at Sheringham Little Theatre.
Theatre Cares – by the Sea! is a pilot programme of relaxed, small-group music workshops designed for people living with mild to moderate dementia together with their partners or carers. Sessions explore music in all its forms, from singing and song-writing to hands-on drumming, chimes and small percussion, with all instruments provided and no prior experience needed. Practitioners Tessa and Duncan remain the same throughout the five-week programme, which runs at a leisurely pace in the accessible Hub Café at Sheringham Little Theatre. Drop-ins are welcome for those not ready to commit to all five sessions.
