Repair Café Cowbridge

A free drop-in repair café where volunteer fixers mend broken household items while visitors enjoy tea and coffee.

Volunteer repairers attempt to fix broken or damaged items brought in by the public, free of charge, while visitors wait over a cup of tea or coffee and can learn how repairs are done. Typical repairs include basic bicycle maintenance, electrical appliance repair, computing assistance, sewing, ornament repair and woodworking, though microwaves are excluded for safety reasons. The session runs for two hours and aspiring fixers are welcome to come along and get involved.
