LGBTQ+ life drawing class

An inclusive 18+ queer life drawing class at New House Art Space, Guildford, open to all abilities and celebrating LGBTQ+ body diversity.

Local artist Kai Kathleen runs this 90-minute life drawing session created as a queer space in Guildford, with models chosen to foreground trans and gender non-conforming bodies. Basic materials such as paper, clipboards, pencils and pastels are provided, though participants are encouraged to bring their own. The session opens with an introduction to the space and model, followed by guided prompts and techniques, a mid-way break, and time for sharing and socialising at the end. It is open to all abilities and aims to be a welcoming, accepting space for LGBTQ+ people to connect.
