The King's Speech

The Barn Theatre’s stage adaptation of The King’s Speech follows Bertie and an Australian speech therapist as an historic radio address approaches.

Set against the constitutional crisis surrounding Edward VIII’s abdication, the play follows Bertie as he works with an unconventional Australian speech therapist to address his stammer. The Churchill Theatre listing says this is a Barn Theatre production adapted from the Oscar-winning film; casting is still to be announced.
