A Day at the Races

A charity hospitality day with the Mayor of Cheltenham for the opening day of the Christmas Meeting jump racing at Cheltenham Racecourse.

Join the Mayor of Cheltenham, Councillor Martin Horwood, for the opening day of the Christmas Meeting at Cheltenham Racecourse, a highlight of the UK jump racing calendar. From 10am in the Festival Suite, ticket holders receive a light lunch, afternoon tea, tips from a professional tipster, a racecard, TV racing coverage, a betting service, reserved seats and complimentary parking. Proceeds support the Mayor's three charities for 2026-27: Young Gloucestershire, Art for All Mental Health and ITSA Digital Trust. The day runs around six and a half hours and under-18s may attend with a parent or legal guardian.
