Monet: Painting Time
About
Monet’s paintings trace his changing response to modern timekeeping, rapid city life and the rhythms of nature.
The exhibition considers Monet’s changing relationship with time, from fleeting moments of modern life to repeated studies of nature and his garden at Giverny.
Current Tate details also offer quieter visits for Tate Members on Saturdays and Sundays from 27 February to 27 June 2027, 09:00–10:00; no booking is needed, and members should bring their card. Members-only private views are listed for 24 February 2027 (10:00–18:00) and 4 March 2027 (18:45–21:30). The 24 February preview is before the exhibition’s public opening on 25 February.
