Cards of Affirmation

A free drop-in craft workshop making affirmation cards with positive messages for people imprisoned abroad.

This Make It Yours session invites visitors to drop into the Creative Courtyard and make cards combining writing and mixed media crafting. Participants create cards with positive messages and affirmations, sharing their thoughts with people who are in prison abroad, ahead of an upcoming exhibition about British citizens imprisoned overseas. The session is free and open to all, led by artists, makers and writers inspired by the museum collection.
