ANON: Secrets in Gold

Vocal ensemble ANON performs anonymous Renaissance music from the manuscripts of Petrus Alamire at Beverley Minster.

ANON presents 'Secrets in Gold', an evening of music drawn from the manuscripts of Petrus Alamire, the mysterious musician and manuscript-maker who supplied the courts of Europe and spied for Henry VIII. The programme brings to life anonymous works preserved in these lavish books, alongside their puzzles, hidden messages and musical riddles. The performance takes place at Beverley Minster on 20 February 2027.
