Dark Arts
About
The Studio Tour's Hallowe'en transformation, with the Great Hall decorated for the season and Death Eater and Dementor performers throughout the sets.
For Hallowe'en, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London dims its lights and turns to the wizarding world's darker side. The Great Hall is decorated with over 100 floating pumpkins above a feast, as seen in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Death Eater performers appear throughout the Tour in authentic costume, and visitors can practise duelling in the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom. Dementors are stationed in the Forbidden Forest. New for 2026, a Hallowe'en-themed Secrets of Sound Effects segment and a Creatures Workshop display on how Nagini was brought to screen. From 6pm, Death Eater performances add lighting, sound and pyrotechnic effects at Hagrid's hut, the Hogwarts Express, Diagon Alley and the Hogwarts Bridge in the Backlot, and a Dementor demonstration runs in the Forbidden Forest with lighting and water-based smoke effects; visitors who want to avoid these can ask a team member to route around them. All Dark Arts features are included in standard Studio Tour admission.
