About

Ryoji Ikeda’s immersive audiovisual installation turns digital data into an enveloping composition of light and sound.

DATA-COSM returns to 180 Studios with an enormous ceiling-mounted LED screen and a sound composition experienced from the floor. Cushions are provided, and alternative seating can be requested from staff. The artwork lasts approximately 17 minutes; visitors attend a booked showing. Intense lights, high-frequency sounds and rapid video transitions may affect visitors with photosensitive or auditory conditions.
