Köln 75

A young German music promoter stakes everything on staging Keith Jarrett's now-legendary 1975 Cologne piano concert, in this drama based on a true story.

Ido Fluk's drama recounts the remarkable true story of Vera Brandes, a teenager at the heart of 1970s Cologne's music scene who took an enormous gamble in organising one of the most famous solo concerts ever given. Blending drama, history and music, the film stars Mala Emde as Brandes, alongside John Magaro, Michael Chernus and Ulrich Tukur.
