GreenMatthews follow their acclaimed show A Brief History of Music with a new revue exploring four centuries of comic song. Chris Green (piano, guitar, accordion) and Sophie Matthews (early woodwinds, flute, saxophone) perform material ranging from bawdy Restoration ballads to Victorian music hall and Sixties satire, including songs by Noël Coward, Tom Lehrer and Flanders and Swann. The fast-moving show promises an evening of melodic mirth and witty wordplay.
