A Long Winter

When his mother vanishes in the season's first blizzard, a young man clings to hope through a long Colorado winter that transforms his bond with his father and his sense of who he is becoming.

This drama follows a family fractured by a mother's disappearance in a snowstorm, as her son and husband struggle through the months of ice and silence that follow. Directed by Andrew Haigh, the film stars Fred Hechinger alongside Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Caitríona Balfe and Kit Connor. It is a quiet, searching portrait of grief, endurance and coming of age in an unforgiving landscape.
