The Jazz Room: Journey to the Heart of Cuba

An intimate live music show celebrating Cuban music, from bolero and son to salsa, at the Great Hall at Barts North Wing.

The Jazz Room presents a roughly 60-minute live concert journey through Cuba's musical heritage, moving from heartfelt boleros to lively son and salsa rhythms. The programme includes classics such as Chan Chan, Cómo Fue, Son de la Loma, La Vida es un Carnaval and Guantanamera, performed live by world-class musicians with a mix of chosen classics and spontaneous improvisation. Guests aged 16 and over can order drinks before the show in the intimate, low-lit Great Hall, with seating assigned first come, first served across cabaret and seated zones.
