Powertex- Make a Decorated Wine Glass

A two-hour Powertex craft workshop where participants decorate their own wine glass with fabric hardener, metallic mica powders and embellishments.

Craft and Create North East CIC runs this hands-on workshop teaching participants to decorate a wine glass using Powertex, a fabric hardener. Tutor Leanne demonstrates the technique plus a dry-brush effect with metallic mica powders, and attendees can add embellishments for a personalised finish. All materials, gloves and aprons are provided; the session is suitable for any ability and ages 10+ (under-18s accompanied by a paying adult), and is subsidised by the National Lottery Community Fund.
