Klezmer Tune Club & Klezjam

A free morning workshop exploring klezmer tunes for musicians of any level, followed by an open folk jam session.

Klezmer Tune Club invites musicians of any level or instrument to learn a tune from the klezmer tradition, led by Richard Fay and Daniel Mawson, using recordings, sheet music and learning by ear. The session places the music in its cultural and historical context while building a group arrangement. After lunch, the KlezJam is a casual open folk session where participants can play, listen and socialise. Minimum age is 16 and participants are encouraged to bring their own instrument.
