Book Launch + Talk: The Future is Not Lost by Matt Bluemink

Matt Bluemink presents ideas from his book on music, technology and imagining new futures, followed by a discussion and Q&A with Alessandro Sbordoni.

The presentation revisits Mark Fisher’s hauntology and asks how contemporary music, technology and speculative cultural forms can help imagine futures beyond nostalgia. Bluemink draws on the work of SOPHIE, Arca and Iglooghost alongside ideas from Bernard Stiegler and Gilbert Simondon. The official listing places the talk in the ICA Studio at 18:30 on 11 November 2026.
