Dares Paradise: An Evening with Taylor Strickland

An evening of poetry and song in English and Gaelic celebrating Taylor Strickland's new translation of 18th-century Gaelic poet Alasdair mac Mhaighstir Alasdair.

Translator, poet and writer Taylor Strickland presents his new translation of Alasdair mac Mhaighstir Alasdair, the under-appreciated 18th-century Gaelic poet and captain at Culloden. The evening promises poetry and song in English and Gaelic, delivered in Strickland's self-described subversive Transatlantic style. The event runs for 90 minutes and is for ages 18 and over.
