Pikelets: Tots Through Time

Explore museum rooms and gardens through play-based activities for crawlers to preschool children.

A weekly term-time early-years session uses a different area of The Commandery or its gardens, with activities such as shape-detecting in the Great Hall, tea parties in the Georgian rooms and sensory garden hunts. Activities support fine motor skills, counting, play-based learning and creative thinking; the session ends with a drink, biscuit and story. Published sessions are 10:15–11:30; there is no session on 28 October.
